Who is responsible
Ritchie Landscapes is responsible for the information you provide when asking about our gardening and landscaping services. For privacy questions, email dec@ritchie-landscapes.co.uk or call 07305 355025.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Hosting services process technical request information to deliver the website and keep it secure. Any website traffic reports do not identify confirmed enquiries or bookings.
If you send us a message
Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, town or postcode, job details and, if you choose, phone number. We use these to answer your enquiry and arrange any work you request. We rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering general questions, as appropriate. We need the required fields to respond usefully; you can use phone, email or WhatsApp instead.
Netlify hosts the website, filters spam and stores form submissions. Email notifications go to dec@ritchie-landscapes.co.uk. Voqal AI maintains the website and has technical access through its hosting account, but may access stored enquiries only when needed for documented support. Voqal is not copied into enquiry emails and does not use enquiry contents for routine reporting or AI processing.
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website for technical hosting information and aggregate traffic reporting. Netlify may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Its data processing agreement describes its international transfer safeguards. Contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
If you contact us by email, WhatsApp, Facebook or phone, your chosen provider handles that communication under its own privacy terms. Ritchie Landscapes uses the details you provide to respond to your enquiry and arrange the work you request.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to quote for and carry out the work.
Your rights
Depending on how your information is used, you can ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or request deletion, restriction or a portable copy. You can object where processing is based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the circumstances and applicable legal requirements. Contact us using the details above.

Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served with the website. A browser session setting called rl-intro remembers that the opening animation has played, so it does not repeat as you browse. It contains no contact details and ends with your browser tab’s session.
Netlify provides traffic statistics from server requests, without a browser tracking script. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Google take you to those services, where their own privacy and cookie notices apply.
